The Décosystème products already are certified A+ (no or very little pollution)

Paris - January 6, 2013.
Are you aware of the fact that the indoor hair often is two to ten times more polluted than the outside air ? And that we spend most of our time inside buildings (between 20 and 22 hours per day).

So, based on this statement, the French Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Transportation and Housing has decided – within the national plan Health and Environment 2 – to launch an ambitious policy to improve the quality of the indoor air by limiting the sources of pollution inside homes and buildings.

From September 2013, building and decoration products must carry a label indicating, in a simple and readily understandable manner, the level of volatile pollutant (VOC) dispersed in the air.
This label which refers to the product once installed, incorporated or applied in a room (and not at the time of unpacking, or application) allows each of us to immediately visualize the level of pollution generated by the related product : A+ (very low dispersion) to C (strong dispersion) following the same principles as already implemented for appliances or cars.

Almost a year ahead of the legal obligation, Décosystème has subjected to the tests its range of interior decorative coatings derived from natural gypsum, lime - DécoPlâtre, Terre de Séléné, Chaux de Séléné et DecoStuc.

Décosystème is proud to announce that all its products have been labeled A+, which means that they have been certified as dispersing “no or very little volatile pollutants”.

Thus, they are among the least polluting on the market and may be used in areas that are as sensitive as bedrooms, classrooms, nurseries…
